Country star Keith Urban played a partial cover of Soundgarden‘s “Black Hole Sun” during his New Year’s Eve performance from Nashville, TN last night. Urban paid tribute to the band’s late frontman Chris Cornell with the song and also did similar tributes to the late Tom Petty and AC/DC, who lost guitarist Malcolm Young in November.
