Today, December 08th, marks thirteen years since Pantera/Damageplan guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott was taken from us by a gunman at a Damageplan show. Paying tribute to his fallen friend, fellow guitar god Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society/Ozzy Osbourne fame shared the below video of himself ripping through the solo on Pantera‘s “Walk” on a guitar gifted to him by Dimebag himself.
Wylde has often been cited as the ideal fill-in for Abbott over the years should the surviving members of Pantera ever be able to put aside their differences and decide to reunite.
