Linkin Park Were Ejected From The ‘American Music Awards’ By Security After Winning An Award


Despite winning an award last night (November 19th) at the ‘American Music Awards‘, three members of Linkin Park were eventually ejected from the awards ceremony at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA. An apparent mix-up with artist credentials led the band to engaging in a cat and mouse game with venue security it would seem, as documented by vocalist Mike Shinoda on his Instagram.

Shinoda also made mention of the apparent issue while accepting the award for ‘Favorite Artist: Alternative Rock’, stating: “they didn’t know we were gonna be here you guys.” Rock Feed captured Shinoda‘s Instagram story on the matter and shared it to YouTube below:
