The Word Alive Singer Tyler “Telle” Smith Suffered A Compound Fracture At Los Angeles, CA Show

The Word Alive vocalist Tyler “Telle” Smith suffered a compound fracture in his right leg during the band’s set at The Novo in Los Angeles, CA last night, November 12th. As with most musicians, he doesn’t have health insurance to pay for the injury and has thus called on fans to help out with his medical bills. He said of the matter:

“Hey guys,

Last night while closing our show in LA with Trapped, I had a fall in the balcony and suffered a compound fracture of my tibia.

Luckily doctors were able to use a technique to prevent the need for surgery (at least for now) to allow me to continue on with the tour.

I’ll be in a chair the remainder of the tour and recovery in a cast for the rest of the year so come out and give TWA all of the energy you can!
See you guys soon, thank you!

Telle :)

Ps at this time I have no plans to start a fundraiser but if you want a new addition to your wardrobe maybe consider TWA this month

This is of course not the first time Smith has injured himself while performing, having broken two vertebrae and more in an ill-fated stage dive back in 2015. Remaining dates for the band’s tour with I Prevail, We Came As Romans and Escape The Fate include:
