Gofundme Launched For Cobalt’s Charlie Fell, Who Severely Broke His Foot In Onstage Accident

Earlier this summer, Cobalt frontman Charlie Fell suffered a freak accident while onstage in Poland that left him with a severely broken foot—severe enough that amputation was a possible option. As the band explained at the time:

“At the end of the final show in Poznan, Poland, Charlie ran on the stage at the end of the Oranssi Pazuzu set, greeting the audience and sending a final farewell to all the fans for coming out to the shows. Someone from the audience reached out to hug him, and Charlie slipped off the stage, landing awkwardly with massive force on his left foot. He shattered his foot in multiple places and was rushed to a hospital in Poland.”

A few months later and Charlie still continues to struggle from the injury and the costs associated with it, he said of that:

“As some of you know in suffered a terrible foot injury in Poland while I was on tour. The injury was substantial enough to require 2 reconstructive surgeries and pull me off my feet for an entire season. Since it happened in Poland it wasnt covered by insurance. We had to cancel the summer tour and I haven’t been able to work the entire summer so I have had no means of income for months.

Since I have been un able to work in haven’t been able to get the proper PT to rehab my foot. Nobody ever wants to post these but this just is not something I will ever be able to cover with out some help. Thanks for reading this and anything will help out.

Help spread the word!”
