The Word Alive Have Written A Song Inspired By Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington

The Word Alive have a written new song inspired by late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington. The track will appear on the band’s new album which they have been recording as of late. Frontman Tyler “Telle” Smith commented via Twitter:

“Just listened to the song that’s on our new record I wrote the day Chester passed. It’s special, and maybe my favorite song on the album. I want to carry the torch he instilled in so many through his honest lyrics. I’ve never related to a person more. I wanted to honor him with continuing what he was about, I think that is all he wanted was to spread love and how real he was. He didn’t hide his problems he faced them for years through his songs. THAT is fighting. I hope he is at peace now.”
