Metallica's Master Of Puppets Deluxe Box Set

Metallica have detailed the forthcoming deluxe remastered editions of their 1986 album “Master Of Puppets“. The revised set will arrive on November 10th via the band’s own Blackened Recordings label. It includes a a remastered version of the album itself while additional formats boast previously unreleased demos, rough mixes, interviews, live tracks and a 28-page booklet. The limited edition deluxe box set will also feature a 108-page hardcover book among various other collectibles and bonuses.

Among the physical configurations being offered are a Standard LP, a standard CD, a 3 CD expanded edition, and a limited edition deluxe box set. Digital formats of the above are also being offered.

Those who pre-order the standard version of the album will receive an instant download of the remastered version of “Disposable Heroes“, while those who pre-order the deluxe or expanded editions will receive a download of the aforementioned track along with a live performance of “The Thing That Should Not Be“. That version of the track was captured during the band’s May 25th, 1986 live show at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL. You can stream both below.
