Metallica, Mastodon, Thrice‘s Dustin Kensrue, Gwar, Four Year Strong and more will be partaking in the annual ‘Ten Bands One Cause’ event, which each year finds ten bands pressing their albums on pink vinyl to benefit the non-profit cancer support organization, Gilda’s Club NYC.
Metallica‘s latest album “Hardwired… To Self-Destruct” will land on September 26th with 2,500 pink vinyl copies to be made available. Mastodon‘s current album “Emperor Of Sand” will arrive on the same date with 3,000 pink vinyl copies to be pressed. Thrice vocalist Dustin Kensrue will also be issuing “Please Come Home” on pink vinyl via Equal Vision as part of the program on the aforementioned date with 1,500 copies to be made available.
Meanwhile, Four Year Strong‘s “Rise Or Die Trying” LP+7″ combo will land on October 06th through I Surrender Records with 500 pink vinyl copies to be pressed. Furthermore, 1,000 copies of Gwar‘s forthcoming new album “The Blood Of Gods” will be made available on pink vinyl upon the album’s official release date, October 20th.
