Dead Cross To Resume Tour Tonight Following Mike Patton’s Skateboard Wipeout

Dead Cross‘ tour will now continue on as planned following last night’s cancellation. As it turns out, the band’s frontman Mike Patton (of Faith No More, etc.) suffered a skateboard wipeout that left him banged up. The band’s publicist issued the below statement on that today:

Mike Patton is ok, he is getting stitched up and is raring to go. He thought he could skateboard to the show last night but he suffered a bad wipe out on the way. The remainder of Dead Cross’ tour will go on as planned.”

Patton himself added:

“I’m ok! Bad wipeout. See you tonight at the El Rey. Nothing stops this tour!”

Along with the update on his condition comes word that the band will be now playing tonight at The El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.
