People who apparently attended the private memorial service held for late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington this past Saturday, July 29th, at the South Coast Botanical Garden in Palos Verdes, CA have been auctioning off the memorial packages that were given to attendees.
Listings from two apparently different sellers have surfaced on eBay for the packages, which feature the funeral program, a memorial pass, a wristband and a pin. As of press time one listing has 134 bids and is up to $51,400 USD. Another separate listing has 12 bids and sits at $34,667 USD.
While it’s unclear if the items are authentic, such a package was indeed handed out to those who attended as former Of Mice & Men vocalist Austin Carlile shared a picture of the genuine package after attending the service a number of days ago, which you can see here.
