Motörhead's Lemmy

Motörhead To Release Covers Album “Under Cöver”

Motörhead‘s cover tracks from throughout the years will be compiled for an upcoming set titled “Under Cöver” that is slated for a September 01st release on Motörhead Music. The set will also feature a previously unreleased cover of David Bowie‘s “Heroes” that was recorded back during the sessions for their final album, 2015’s “Bad Magic“. The band’s vocalist/bassist Lemmy Kilmister of course sadly died a few months after its release.

Former guitarist Phil Campbell commented of the Bowie cover: “It’s such a great Bowie song, one of his best, and I could only see great things coming out of it from us, and so it proved to be. And Lemmy ended up loving our version.” Drummer Mikkey Dee added: “He was very, very proud of it, not only because it turned out so well but because it was fun! Which is what projects like this should be – fun!”
