MetalSucks have picked up on a reader’s theory that some of the lineup for this year’s ‘Ozzfest‘ festival may be hiding in plain sight. Recent posts on the the Ozzfest‘s official Instagram have been of artists who have played the festival in the past—all of whom are currently either on proper album cycles or are soon to begin them. Among the latest bands posted are Marilyn Manson, Superjoint, Goatwhore, Drowning Pool and Walls Of Jericho.
While it’s certainly not out of the ordinary for the account to share images of past performers, the above artists are the only ones to have been shared since word was released of the upcoming July 10th official announcement for this year’s ‘Ozzfest Meets Knotfest‘. At this point however, the only real safe bets for this year’s edition of the combined festival appear to be Ozzy Osbourne on ‘Ozzfest‘ and Stone Sour on ‘Knotfest‘, as Slipknot won’t be appearing this year.
