Exodus To Be Rejoined By Former Members Rob Dukes & Rick Hunolt At Special Show

Exodus had promised some special sets during their upcoming two night residency at The Chapel in San Francisco, CA this upcoming weekend on July 07th-08th. The band’s guitarist Gary Holt (also of Slayer) has since revealed that the Saturday performance will find the group temporarily reunited with their ex-vocalist Rob Dukes, former guitarist Rick Hunolt and Holt‘s live fill-in, Kragen Lum. Holt recently told CBS SF of the shows:

“…I think we’re filming them. The first night is going to be Steve Souza’s first headlining show with Exodus back in the Bay. We’re going to put together a pretty varied set list and try to pull out a couple of deep tracks. It’s going to be really killer.

The second night, we’ve got a few special guests lined up. It’s going to be awesome. We have Rob Dukes coming up to sing some songs. I’m super stoked about that. [Classic-era guitarist] Rick Hunolt is going to play a few songs and Kragen, who has been standing in for me, is going to play some songs. It’s going to be a night to remember.”

Dukes of course didn’t leave Exodus on good terms a few years back. The Friday, July 07th show will see Hatriot and Infex open while Exmortus and Pounder will appear on Saturday’s date. As Holt stated, the shows will be filmed for a future release.
