The Bronx singer Matt Caughthran shared some info on the band’s forthcoming new album, “V” during a recent appearance on the ‘Pants OFF! Podcast‘. That episode can be heard below, with Caughthran stating on it that the aforementioned album was produced by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliot Smith).
Drummer David Hidalgo Jr. handled the studio drumming for the new album with a decision on a permanent drummer for the band still up in the air as touring drummer Joey Castillo is not entirely out of the picture. Meanwhile, speaking of where the band are at with “V“, Caughthran offered that the album was completed and being mastered. While an official release date had yet to be set, a September release date was tentatively being eyed.
