0

The U.S. first week sales have been revealed for the new albums from Miss May I and Eighteen Visions. Miss May I‘s “Shadows Inside” landed with 4,425 units sold, earning it a #176 debut on the Billboard Top 200. Sales were down considerably from the band’s previous effort “Deathless” however.

That 2015 release arrived with 9,275 units sold during its first week, debuting at #49 on the Top 200. “Shadows Inside” represents the band’s first release through their new label home of SharpTone Records with their previous outings having landed through Rise Records.

Speaking of Rise Records, the first week sales are now in for the label’s release of Eighteen Visions‘s first album since 2006. That effort, “XVIII“, shifted 3,525 units during its first week of availability. Though the number may initially seem low, given that the band have only played one show since reuniting and seem to lack an official Facebook presence, it’s still quite respectable. However, it wasn’t enough to see the album place on the Billboard Top 200.
