The Union Underground Announce Texan Shows, Frontman Shares Audioslave Cover

The Union Underground will return to the stage in the coming weeks for two Texan shows. A Killer’s Confession (ex-Mushroomhead) will open the dates, which include:

06/30 Houston, TX – Scout Bar
07/01 Dallas, TX – Trees

In other news, The Union Underground frontman/guitarist Bryan Scott shared the following cover of Audioslave‘s “I Am The Highway” he recorded over a decade ago. He unearthed the track in light of Chris Cornell‘s passing last month. He said of the song:

“I recorded this song over 10 years ago. The intention was simply nothing more than to archive a demo of one of my favorite songs for my private collection. It was never meant to be heard by the public, however, I feel there is no better way to express my gratitude for someone that has been a huge influence on my work than through his music and share this with everyone. (please don’t ask where it can be purchased, as I will not make it available for sale) Thank you Chris for all the amazing melodies
