Chris Cornell‘s widow Vicky shared the below post written to her late husband, recalling the fourteen years they spent together, via Cornell‘s official Facebook profile earlier today, June 01st. Cornell took his own life following a May 17th show in Detroit, MI and was laid to rest at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA last week. While the medical examiner ruled his death as a suicide, the family are hoping that the toxicology report will provide more answers.
In other news, various members and associates of the Soundgarden camp recently shared a meal together, with guitarist Kim Thayil and drummer Matt Cameron meeting up with ex-Soundgarden bassist Hiro Yamamoto, producer Jack Endino, Cornell‘s ex-wife Susan Silver and Stuart Hallerman, who worked with the band in various capacities over the years, from production to soundman.
