Soundgarden/Audioslave, etc. frontman Chris Cornell was laid to rest today (May 26th) in a private ceremony at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA. Pictures of his final resting place can be found at TMZ. According to various reports, the funeral was attended not only by his friends and family, but also by his Soundgarden bandmates, Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron, and his Audioslave bandmate Tom Morello.

Numerous photos can be found here. Morello, Ament, Cameron, Thayil, Brolin and more all gave eulogies. Bennington & Delson also performed “Hallelujah” at the gathering. Cornell took his own life following a show in Detroit, MI last week. His manager has stated that it was very unexpected, while his wife suspects an improper dosage of his anxiety medication clouded his judgment.
