Phil Labonte With Five Finger Death Punch

Five Finger Death Punch Joined By All That Remains’ Phil Labonte For “Wash It All Away” In Texas

Five Finger Death Punch Ivan Moody recently addressed his meltdown last year, which saw him exit the band’s tour to seek help. He said while onstage during the band’s show last week in Corpus Christi, TX:

“This is the first show I played with Death Punch in six months in America. And about six months ago, I had a complete meltdown, and I’m willing to admit it.

And luckily for me, my band understood and they told me to take some time to myself. Now here’s the best part. They asked me, if there was one person that they would pick to front this band if I was dead, I picked one of my oldest, greatest friends and one of the greatest fucking singers in heavy metal today, Phil from All That Remains.

Now while I was taking my vacation, I realized something. Death Punch isn’t just about us—it’s about you motherfuckers. So I’m gonna give credit where credit is due.

Make some noise for my best friend and one of the greatest of all time. Phil, come on out here.”

As Moody stated, All That Remains frontman Phil Labonte was among those who filled in for him on the band’s late 2016 touring. The aforementioned Corpus Christi show saw Labonte once again join the band onstage, this time to perform “Wash It All Away” alongside Moody. Fan-filmed footage of that is available below:
