Korn have announced that they will be rescheduling a majority of their May touring plans as a result of “unforeseen circumstances.” The group will however still be appearing at a handful of festival appearances. Most recently the band toured South America with Tye Trujillo, the 12-year-old son of Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo, filling in for bassist Fieldy.
A statement issued on the matter at the time had word that Fieldy was unable to make the dates to due “unforeseen circumstances” as well. The band issued the following statement on their newly announced plans to reschedule today (April 28th):
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will be rescheduling a majority of our May tour dates. We will still be performing at Carolina Rebellion on May 6th, Pointfest on May 13th and Rock On The Range on May 20th. All tickets will be honored, or refunded at the point of purchase. Stay tuned for more information regarding rescheduling the dates.”
