Killswitch Engage, etc. frontman Jesse Leach appeared in a live interview with Hatebreed‘s Jamey Jasta for ‘The Jasta Show‘ recently. The interview covered many topics, including the current progress with his various projects. Among his focus lately is Times Of Grace, his side project with his Killswitch Engage bandmate, Adam Dutkiewicz. As for that outfit, he stated that the band are working on fourteen new songs. Elaborating on direction of the new material, he offered:
“The new stuff on the demos so far is even a further departure from the Killswitch sound. It’s less metal, more heavy indie rock. Kind of post metal sounding stuff.”

He also spoke of his new punk/hardcore outfit which he previously teased, revealing it to be called The Weapon. He described it as being “minute and a half, really quick Black Flag style stuff kind of stuff.” He expects that a 7″ from the outfit will arrive this summer. He also revealed that his previous outfit Seemless isn’t something that will likely be revisited.
