Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter appeared in an recently uploaded interview with TC Electronic. In it, he was asked if the band have any plans for writing the follow-up to their 2016 release “Gore“, to which he replied:
“Yeah we’ll be in the studio at some point, there’s no window that we have blotted out on the calendar or anything like that right now. [We’re] Just playing, just noodlin’ around, just goofin’ around trying to let things come in.”
The clip also finds him discussing how his admiration for Meshuggah made him a convert into seven-string guitars and eight-string guitars.
