Suicide Silence Premiere “Dying In A Red Room” Music Video

Suicide Silence have premiered a music video for their track “Dying In A Red Room” off of their newly released self-titled album. Billboard.com debuted the clip with frontman Eddie Hermida offering:

“The way ‘Dying In A Red Room‘ came about was simply being on tour in the back lounge one crazy night and that riff was spewed out and stuck. We started jamming it and that song was done quick and natural. We wanted that song to be very fluid. The song is meant to be a love song to the ghosts we carry around with us. To never be afraid to be yourself or listen to your heart. In a way that is always what this band has wanted to represent. Fearlessness.”

Hermida also further shrugged off nü-metal comparisons the band have been drawing their latest material, stating:

“To me, it’s such an obvious comparison that they aren’t seeing the big picture. They equate recording with Ross [Robinson] with sounding off nü-metal or like Korn… we were all Ross Robinson fans, so it’s also obvious to me that we would draw from our influences to create the music we love. I suggest to look deeper, listen harder and ask yourself why you need to compare anything. Why can’t it just be music?”
