The Ghost Inside vocalist Jonathan Vigil has shared the following video update on the band’s collective health. They continue their long road to recovery from the serious bus accident that they were involved in November of 2015. That crash left them with serious life changing injuries.

It claimed the lives of both drivers involved in the accident and left Vigil with a brain injury, a fractured neck, two broken ankles, a broken tooth and various cuts and abrasions. Drummer Andrew Tkaczyk suffered 51 injuries in the crash, chief among them the loss of his right leg. He also suffered a dislocated shoulder causing nerve damage, spinal, rib and hip fractures and more.

Guitarist Zach Johnson meanwhile suffered a severely broken pelvis and various broken bones in the crash, which led to the loss of some of his toes. It was announced last year that the band would be taking part in this year’s ‘Vans Warped Tour‘, however as Vigil explains in the below video, their healing process hasn’t gone as they had planned and thus they remain unsure when they will physically be able to next hit the stage. That said, it does remain their ultimate goal to once again play shows.

The ‘Vans Warped Tour‘ have since announced that they will hold a spot for them on the tour each year until they are ready to play:
