Bad Brains frontman H.R. is to undergo brain surgery in February for a procedure which is hoped to alleviate his issues SUNCT—a condition that repeatedly causes agonizing headaches. This Gofundme was launched for him early last year in order to cover the initial medical costs associated with the disorder. Speaking recently with Loudwire, H.R. commented:
“[My wife] took me to the hospital so I would learn about what was going on in my head, because I was experiencing bad headaches at the time. And the doctor came to me and he said we’re going to have a surgery.”
Over the past few months he had been treating the condition via prescribed medication and holistic substances. The surgical procedure is set to take place on February 21st.
