Cynic‘s early demos have been compiled into an extensive collection titled ‘Uroboric Forms – The Complete Demo Collection‘. The effort will be released across various formats on February 10th and includes material originally featured on four demos (“Demo 1988“, “Reflections Of A Dying World“, “Demo 1990” and “Demo 1991“.
An in-depth interview with band mastermind Paul Masvidal is also included, as are photos, new artwork and more. The included audio has also been remastered by Patrick W. Engel while two previously unreleased tracks, “Uroboric Forms” and “The Eagle Nature“, are both included as well. Those tracks were recorded during a vocal audition by Viogression‘s Brian DeNeffe. Various colored pressings are being made available, they include:
- Black vinyl: unlimited
- Golden vinyl: limited to 100 copies, exclusively available at CM Distro EU
- Clear vinyl: limited to 200 copies, exclusively available at Nuclear Blast
- Transparent Red vinyl: limited to 300 copies, exclusively available in stores in the USA
