Stone Sour vocalist/guitarist Corey Taylor has confirmed that the band have set “Hydrograd” as the title to their new album which they have been recording in recent weeks. Taylor confirmed the news to Rock Cellar Magazine in the below interview. Taylor also mentioned that the band were about halfway done with the process for the new album and have largely been recording it live in the studio. The group went into the studio with 18 songs and 9 have since been recorded. It’s currently unclear as to how many will appear on the final album, which is expected out late spring/early summer.
