Ex-Suicidal Tendencies Bassist Files Suit Over Unpaid Royalties

TMZ report that former Suicidal Tendencies bassist Louiche Mayorga has filed suit against Frontier Records founder Lisa Fancher over unpaid royalties from his time with the band. Mayorga appeared on the band’s Frontier Records released 1983 self-titled debut album and its Caroline released 1987 follow-up, “Join The Army“. He has co-writing credits on six of the songs featured on the band’s debut, including their most popular track, “Institutionalized“, which has over 4.7 million streams on Spotify.

Mayorga has previously filed suit against the band over unpaid royalties as well. More recently Mayorga and various former members of Suicidal Tendencies‘ early lineup have been performing together as Luicidal—who in part are known to cover material from early Suicidal Tendencies records.
