It hasn’t taken long for Metallica to score their first platinum plaque for their new album “Hardwired…To Self-Destruct“. The effort has already gone platinum in Canada, signifying 80,000 copies ‘sold’ in the country. The group were recently presented with their plaques for the milestone, you can see a photo of that below. The album itself recently opened at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 291,000 equivalent albums sold in the U.S. during its first week of release.
