Iron Maiden‘s ‘Book Of Souls Tour‘ is among the top 10 highest grossing tours of 2016, according to a mid-year report put up by Billboard.com, who pulled the data from their Boxscore reporting service. There’s a few variables at play however, as both Adele‘s and Garth Brooks‘ tours do not report their box office data. Iron Maiden took home the #8 spot with a total gross of $35,055,268 from 34 shows, racking up a total number of 538,563 attendees. That’s likely great news to hear as maintaining their ‘Ed Force One‘ jumbo jet couldn’t have come cheap.
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street band took home #1 with $135,355,391 grossed from 45 shows. The report also covers the top grossing promoters, shows and venues of the year thus far, you can find it over at Billboard.com.
