Periphery frontman Spencer Sotelo discussed the band’s new album, “Periphery III: Select Difficulty“, and more with Metal Wani and revealed that they are sitting on a surplus of new material from over the years. He commented:
“We’ve had so much excess material. You know what’s funny is that “The Price Is Wrong” was supposed to be on “Juggernaut“, but we couldn’t make it fit in the story. There’s so many songs like that every record that never make it cause it doesn’t really fit the vibe of the other songs or it’s not right, not there yet. I’d say there’s probably another ten songs that could be used in the future.”
“Periphery III: Select Difficulty” will meet a July 22nd release date through Sumerian. Earlier today the band premiered a new track from it titled “Motormouth” which you can stream here.
