Tom Morello Says Prophets Of Rage Plan To “Cause A Ruckus” At Republican National Convention

Prophets Of Rage have plans to stir things up at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, OH this July. Band guitarist Tom Morello confirmed their plans to Bloomberg Politics in the below video. The group unites members of Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill. They recently made their live debut and are scheduled to play their second show tonight, June 03rd, at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA. Speaking of their RNC plans, Morello offered:

“Well there’s a thing called the Republican National Convention in July, and that will be a perfect place for a band like Prophets of Rage to cause a ruckus, and we will be there on the streets, in the field… We have a venue and there may be venues that will be spontaneous venues, it’s hard to say. This is the kind of thing you don’t broadcast to the local authorities prior to arrival.”
