Stone Sour continue to celebrate the 10th anniversary of “Come What(ever) May” by sharing original demos from the effort. The demo for the title track Guitarist Josh Rand said of this latest demo, which was an early version of the title track titled “Drama Cyst“.
“This was the first version of the song ‘Come What(ever) May‘ titled Drama Cyst record in 2004. I believe it was recorded in Corey‘s grandmothers basement. Jim is not on this Demo cause he was working on Slipknot‘s Vol.3 in L.A at the time.
The song had a drastic make over once Roy played the drum track, which made Corey re-write the lyrics.”
Meanwhile, writing continues for the next Stone Sour album, with plans for a 2017 release.
