Joey Jordison (Ex-Slipknot) Forms Sinsaenum With Mayhem, DragonForce, Ex-Chimaira Members


Former Slipknot drummer Joey Joridson has been keeping quite busy in recent months. In addition to launching his new band Vimic, word has just been released on his new extreme metal project, Sinsaenum. That outfit finds him joined by the following lineup:

Guitars: Frederic Leclercq (DragonForce)
Guitars: Stéphane Buriez (Loudblast)
Vocals/keyboards: Sean Zatorsky (Daath, ex-Chimaira)

Drums: Joey Jordison (Vimic, Ex-Slipknot)

Metal Hammer got word on the new project, who will release their debut album, “Echoes Of The Tortured“, on July 29th through Peccatum Records. Leclercq commented:

“I’ve been a death metal fan ever since and wrote some of these songs already in 1998, so it’s something I always wanted to do. There was never the right time though, nor did I find the proper people to pull it off. Joey sent me an SMS to ask what I was up to, so I told him about those death metal songs.”
