Surviving Motörhead members Phil Campbell and Mikey Dee will join Saxon onstage for a one-off tribute show to late Motörhead frontman/bassist Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister at the 2016 Metal Hammer Golden Gods‘s awards show. That event will take place at the Eventim Apollo in London, England on June 13th. Saxon‘s Biff Byford commented:
“Lemmy was a great friend and he always supported our band – as we did Motörhead – through ups and downs. We were touring with them when he died, so to be able to honour him at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods is a great opportunity to say goodbye.”
