Metallica To Stream 'Record Store Day' Performance, James Hetfield Shares Record Store Memories

Metallica‘s 2016 ‘Record Store Day‘ live in-store performance tomorrow, April 16th, will be broadcast over the web. The band will be performing at Rasputin Music in Berkeley, CA as part of their role as the ambassadors for this years ‘Record Store Day‘ event. The stream will be hosted at the band’s official Facebook and is due to begin around 4:00pm PDT/7pm EST.

Today, April 15th, the band released deluxe box sets of “Kill ‘Em All” and “Ride The Lightning“. Tomorrow will see them put out a new live release, “Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité, Metallica!“. All proceeds from it will be donated to the victims of the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, France via Fondation de France’s Give For France charity.

In addition to that, frontman/guitarist James Hetfield has now shared his early record store memories in the newly posted video below. You can find similar videos from other members of the band here. Meanwhile, the group have shared a picture of what appears to be the song board for the recording process of their new album, which keeps track of each part recorded for each song:
