Watch Trivium's Matt Heafy Jump Offstage To Save A Crowdsurfer At Bristol, UK Show

Trivium frontman/guitarist Matt Heafy dove offstage mid-solo to catch a crowdsurfer who was about to hit the floor during last night’s (March 23rd) performance in Bristol, UK. It happened during the band’s encore performance of “In Waves” and you can see the footage below. Heafy later commented via Instagram:

To quote @blklizard1: “sometimes… You have to be more than a man…” Yep. Didn’t think that through, just saw a supporter of the band plummeting headfirst into the floor; luckily I stopped it by jumping into harm’s way.
