Faith No More's Mike Patton & Mike Bordin With Dan Boyle

Here’s The Story Of How Faith No More Had A New York Rangers Defenseman Roadie For Them

Last October the story of New York Rangers defenseman Dan Boyle being Faith No More‘s roadie for five days during the band’s August 2015 East Coast tour made its way to the web. Boyle and members of the band have now told how that came to be, detailing their long-running friendship and more. In the chat, Boyle reveals that while Faith No More are his favorite band, Deftones, Tool and Pantera also rank highly for him. Drummer Mike “Puffy” Bordin commented of having Boyle on the road with them:

Dan really wanted to help. We’ve never been the kind of band that has friends coming on the road to hang out with us; everyone who has a tour laminate works pretty fucking hard, and it can be a real drag having someone extra in your way. It’s like, ‘Who’s that guy? What’s he doing here?’ But Dan was there working – that’s just the kind of guy he is.”
