Being As An Ocean have signed with Equal Vision and premiered the below music video for their new single “Dissolve” (via here) to celebrate. The video itself was produced by the band’s own guitarist Tyler Ross and Capsize‘s Daniel Wand. Speaking of their new deal, Being As An Ocean vocalist Joel Quartuccio commented:

“We are ecstatic to finally get the opportunity to work with the family at Equal Vision Records. Our relationship has been a long time in the making, and it is like a dream come true to be able to call ourselves part of the team. Ever since we met Dan Sandshaw, EVR’s president, we knew that the label’s ethos and passion for the music was akin to our own and that we didn’t want to settle for anything less. We are eternally grateful to EVR for sticking it out through the years with us to see this beautiful partnership to fruition.”

Speaking of “Dissolve“, which was recorded at Glow In The Dark Studios with producer Matt McCllellan (Capsize, Better Off), Quartuccio offered:

“‘Dissolve has been about 3-4 months in the making, being written over one of our longest timelines, and we think it is one of our best yet. We, simply, have never had the time to make something this special before, and I think it really shows. Working with Matt McClellan, now for the third time, was a breeze. We click so well with him on a personal and musical level, we consider him a brother/family. Recording with him is always such a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I think that shines through, as well. It really aides the whole process, and I know it just wouldn’t be the same going to anyone else.”
