Carnifex Begin Recording New Album

0

The recording sessions for Carnifex‘s new album have begun at Audio Hammer Studios in Sanford, FL. The band themselves will be overseeing the production duties alongside Mick Kenney (of Anaal Nathrakh) and Jason Suecof (Trivium, All That Remains). Mark Lewis (Cannibal Corpse, DevilDriver) will mix the effort. Carnifex vocalist Scott Ian Lewis commented:

“Album number six, over 10 years as a band and we have more fire and passion than ever. This album will reshape our genre and be looked back on as an album that started a new movement for aggressive, dark metal. We’re going to show those who love us and those who hate us just how far reaching our ambition is.”

Nuclear Blast are planning to have the album in stores this summer.
