Update – December 01st 2:34pm:

Keith Buckley has since further elaborated on the matter:

“last night as I was preparing for my book release party at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto, I received an urgent call that my wife Lindsay- who was at the time only 7 months pregnant- had developed a rare and life threatening complication which required immediate removal of our child in order to save both her life and Lindsay’s.

Andy Williams and our tech Kevin White raced me to the hospital in Buffalo where I saw sights that no man, father or husband should ever have to see. It is here that I now wait as their conditions stabilize. ETID has allowed me all the time I need in order to handle this extremely delicate situation but they will- with my blessing- continue the tour without me, enlisting the help of very close friends to handle vocal duties.

I apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment this may cause and will do all I can to make it up to you. For the moment, however, all of my being is focused on the recovery of my lionhearted wife and my frail but beautiful new daughter. thank you for your understanding. give my bandmates my love when you see them.

Original Story:

A family emergency caused Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley to cancel his book signing yesterday in Toronto, ON and also miss tonight’s (December 01st) show at the Danforth Music Hall in the city. As per Buckley‘s request, the band will soldier on with the performance, with Tyler Brand of Exalt filling in for him:

“Due to an emergency back home, Keith had to return to Buffalo. He refused to have us cancel, so Tyler from Exalt will be helping us out…ALONG WITH TONIGHT’S CROWD in Toronto. We’ll all make this a good one.”

The band are presently out on the road with August Burns Red, Stick To Your Guns and more on this fall tour.
