Back in 2012 a beef erupted between Terror and The Ghost Inside, particularly between their respective frontmen, Scott Vogel and Jonathan Vigil. Said beef was squashed in 2014 and we all moved on with our lives. Given the recent fatal bus accident that The Ghost Inside were involved in, the once former detractor Vogel has commented on the group, offering the following words of support:

“This is a photo of Vigil and myself in the summer of 2014, long after our differences were discussed face to face and put behind us. Terror and The Ghost Inside have not had a perfect friendship. But seeing the photos of their bus accident and hearing that people lost their lives in it, is really scary and heartbreaking. These guys are in my thoughts and I hope for the best for them. To the drivers that lost their lives in this tragedy: rest in peace.

Scott

Members of The Ghost Inside continue to receive medical care for their injuries sustained in the crash, with their conditions said to be improving and stable. In some more positive news, $138,411 has now been raised for the group and the funeral costs of their bus driver who lost his life in the crash via Gofundme.com.

The impressive sum has come in no small part from the metal & hardcore community, with Vogel himself even chipping in $75. A laundry list of other bands also pitched in, including: Bring Me The Horizon with $10,000, Parkway Drive with $5,000, King 810 with $2,000, Architects with $1,000 and many, many more. A list of some of those who contributed can be found over at Lambgoat.
