Eagles Of Death Metal Frontman Jesse Hughes Talks About Paris Terrorist Attacks In New Video

Eagles Of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes and drummer Josh Homme (also of Queens Of The Stone Age) have spoken out regarding the terrorist attack that claimed the lives of 89 people during their show last weekend at the Le Bataclan in Paris, France. The pair have recorded a video interview on the incident that will air next week on Homme himself was not present at the gig the night of the tragic events. Hughes and the rest of the band however were and managed to escape, though their merch guy Nick Alexander was among those who was murdered that night. The below preview for that interview has been released:

“Several people hid in our dressing room, and the killers were able to get in and killed every one of them—except for a kid who was hiding under my leather jacket. People were playing dead, and they were so scared. A great reason why so many were killed is because so many people wouldn’t leave their friends. So many people put themselves in front of people.”
