An extremist Christian pastor named Steven Anderson has ranted on the Eagles Of Death Metal and the tragic terrorist attack that took place during the bands set at Le Bataclan in Paris, France this past Friday, November 13th. That attack saw over 80 people slain at the venue by several armed gunmen. In the below video, Anderson tears into frontman Jesse Hughes and his nickname ‘The Devil‘, citing past interviews. Speaking of the concert itself, which he mistakenly refers to as being actual death metal, he rants at around 5 minutes in:
“When you go to a concert of death metal, somebody might get killed! You know, you’re worshiping death! And then, all of a sudden, people start dying!… Well, you love death so much, you bought the ticket, you love worshiping Satan! Well, let’s have some of Satan’s religion come in and shoot you!

But you know what, nobody should be at a concert worshiping Satan with this drug pushing hillbilly faggot. And that’s what he is. I mean all you have to do is just Google this band. Somebody told me, somebody emailed me and told me ‘just hit Google Images, Eagles Of Death Metal‘ and these guys are just total sodomite looking freaks. You know, but nobody thinks about that. It’s just ‘oh no, let’s stand with France.'”
Anderson later goes on to condemn the nation of France for being sinful and just about everything else you’d expect from the Faithful Word Baptist Church—who have been accused of being an anti-gay hate group for their extremist radical views.
