Suicide Silence will headline a throwback benefit show at The Observatory in Santa Ana, CA on December 04th. The bill will be rounded out by Winds Of Plague, As Blood Runs Black, Suffokate and Antagonist. Proceeds from the event will be donated to MHALA.org-which aims “to achieve victory over mental illnesses and addictions through advocacy, education, research and service.” Suicide Silence vocalist Eddie Hermida (also of the reformed All Shall Perish) offered:

“We’re proud to announce Mental Health America of Los Angeles as the benefactor of our donations this Christmas. Suicide Silence has always had a deep connection with our fans and over time we’ve come to notice that so many of our younger fans feel lost or left behind in such ways that their mental health takes a turn for the worse.

More often than not, their conditions go undiagnosed or untreated and they’re left with the the tortures of “dealing” on their own. MHALA is an organization that shares our passion for early action in these matters & seeks real solutions to the societal issues that propel mental illness. We applaud them, we support them, and we will fight to make this world a less frightful place for those in need.”

Tickets are available here. The show marks a rare appearance from Winds Of Plague, but the band have teased some more activity is on the horizon:

“With this announcement, we’d like to let our fans know we have a lot of great things in the works and can’t wait to share some exciting news.”
