Old Man Gloom (Converge, Cave In, etc.) will release a new live album on February 19th. It captures the bands April 03rd, 2014 live show in London, England and will be titled “Old Man Gloom: Mickey Rookey Live At London“. As for the odd title of that outing, drummer Santos Montano is to blame, with the band explaining:
“‘Old Man Gloom: Mickey Rookey Live At London‘ is the name of our new live album. You know, the one I’ve been posting about relentlessly. The name comes from Santos being drunk in Europe, and trying to say the name Mickey Rooney, and Mickey Rourke simultaneously, and the other members laughing at his dumbness. Please tell us about something dumb you’ve said when you were drunk, or how drunk you’ll need to be to buy this live album. Beach Ball. Beeeeeeach Ball. Yeah!”
