Born Of Osiris had to cut their immediate touring short after their guitarist Lee McKinney broke his foot as the result of an accident. McKinney was discharged from a Seattle, WA hospital over the weekend after undergoing surgery and said of his injury & expected downtime:
“Discharged from the Seattle hospital last night, flying home to Chicago tonight. Hopefully will see another specialist tomorrow or the next day – as soon as they can get me in. This was a very complex multiple fracture situation so as much as I would have love to have thrown a cast on it and continued tour I am not able. Healing is number one priority, jumping back into the unpredictable life of touring could lead to future even long term damage. Thank you guys for all the support, and trust me when it’s absolutely safe to get back out on the road, I will be. I can’t wait to play this new record for you guys ❤️”
The injury unfortunately happened just as the band released their new album “Soul Sphere“, which is now in stores.
