We Came As Romans vocalist Dave Stephens, guitarist Lou Cotton and bassist Andrew Glass have launched a new side project dubbed Crucible. The band finds the trio joined by guitarist Todd Jansen (presumably of Assassins?) and ex-Taproot drummer Nick Freddell. The project was started in order to allow the musicians to play something heavier than their primary bands would allow.
A six-song debut EP from the outfit produced by Nick Sampson (Born Of Osiris, Miss May I) will be made available on November 07th. Their first live show will occur a week later, taking place at the Crofoot in Pontiac, MI on November 14th.
