Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile appeared alongside former basketball prospect Isaiah Austin to discuss Marfan Syndrome on WGN News. Both men have been diagnosed with the syndrome, with Carlile having undergone surgery for it. Carlile has most recently been partaking in physical therapy to recover from his latest surgery related to the disorder. The pair appeared on the program to raise awareness about The Marfan Foundation.
