A Skylit Drive’s Drummer Unhappy With At Least One Thing About Same-Sex Marriage


It appears that A Skylit Drive drummer Brandon Richter (ex-Motionless In White) is not in favor of at least one aspect the recent ruling in the United States legalizing same-sex marriage. In a since deleted post made to his Instagram (see below,) he stated:

“This is the kind of thing that angers God beyond belief. The world is BLIND. No one cares. Everyone’s selfish and can care less about eternity and chooses to put all their faith in the joy of the world and of the flesh. Believe me when I say it’s easier to live blind and live by the way of the world. I have been in both places. Darkness AND light. And yes you will be an outsider, but you will also receive eternal life if you choose to walk the narrow path. The United States is headed for BAD TIMES. It’s not up to us, that’s what people don’t understand. All we can do is share the TRUTH.”

Two images of apparent LGBT people mocking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ were attached the post. While Richter deleted the post, he later made another since-deleted post, stating that his comments were directed towards the ‘sacrilegious’ imagery, not the legalization of same-sex marriage. The band themselves have since posted the following:
